Distinctly Montana Magazine has been sold by founder Michael Blevins to Bill Muhlenfeld and Anthea George of Bozeman, Montana, according to John Cribb, Cribb, Greene & Associates, who represented the seller in the transaction.Distinctly Montana Magazine is a high quality glossy product published quarterly and distributed throughout Montana and most of the nation. The magazine, founded in 2001, is a resource guide for all things Montana and includes local features, literary pieces, and high quality art and photography. Included in the sale is the magazine website at distinctlymontana.com.
According to Anthea George, "Distinctly Montana is a quality publication with a great concept and a focused mission. We look forward as new owners to bringing the best of Montana to residents and visitors alike."
Cribb, Greene & Associates is an eighty-seven year old publishing company merger and acquisition firm with offices in Bozeman, Montana and Charlottesville, Virginia.
Rhythm & Blues Tour
We are excited to announce the Rhythm & Blues Tour at the Inland Press Association Annual Convention.This is no "potted palms and polished brass" event, but a night of real blues at one of the world's most famous Chicago blues clubs, The Kingston Mines.
Cribb, Greene & Associates, Parade Magazine and Shaw Newspapers is hosting this event for Inland attendees on Monday, Oct. 27th, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
Here's what's happening:
•6:30 - 7:45 pm: Acoustic blues set by the Joanna Connor Band (see details below)
•8:00 - 9:15 pm: Electric blues set with John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band (see details below)
•Deep Dish Chicago Style Pizza, Assorted Appetizers and Tossed Salad
•Beer, Wine and Soft Drinks
Buses will leave from the hotel around 6:00 pm - more details at the Inland registration desk
This is completely casual - please wear blue jeans and your official "Blues Tour" T Shirt (available at the Inland Registration Desk during check-in).
Our capacity is limited to the first 250 attendees - and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Joanna Connor Band is a frequent attraction not only at leading blues nightspots but also as a featured act at major festivals in the USA and Canada. Joanna has also developed a strong following in Europe, South America and Japan. As a result of many overseas appearances, in Germany she became very popular after being featured several times on national television.

John Primer has played with or opened for Willie Dixon, Magic Slim, and the "Hoochie Coochie" man himself, Muddy Waters. He has since toured extensively in support of his ten solo albums to date. With John Primer's strong traditionalist blues phrasing and lightning fast slide techniques, few artists can match him. A master storyteller and songwriter, his catalog of songs is endless and his sound is unforgettable.
