The sale of the Natomas Journal, a free paper serving more than 20,000 readers in the North and South Natomas area of Sacramento, California, was announced this week by Jim Hicks of Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who represented the seller in the transaction.

Purchasing the paper, effective July 18, was Kimberley Scott of Sacramento, California. The Natomas Journal was started in 1988 by Judy Tretheway, and she had owned and operated the tabloid community paper until the sale this month.

Bolitho-Cribb & Associates is a publishing company brokerage firm located in Bozeman, Montana.
