Sale of the Basin Republican-Rustler and the Greybull Standard, both weekly newspapers located in north-central Wyoming, was announced this week by Jim Hicks of Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who represented the sellers.
The two papers, with a combined circulation of over 3,000, were purchased from Eric and Linda Adams by David and Susan Peck, publishers of the Lovell Chronicle. All three newspapers serve the major communities located in Bighorn County on the western slope of Wyoming’s famous Bighorn Mountains.
The purchase brings the total circulation of publications in Bighorn County under Peck’s management to more than 5,000.
