Dickson Media, Inc. has sold the Dickson Shopper Group, Dickson, Tennessee, to the Nashville Tennessean, according to John Cribb, Bolitho-Cribb & Associates, who represented Dickson in the transaction. The Tennessean is owned by Gannett Co., Inc.
The Dickson Shopper Group includes the Dickson Shopper, 19,800 weekly circulation; the Hickman Shopper, 6,500 weekly circulation; the Fairview Shopper, 1,800 weekly circulation; and the Fairview Observer, 1,700 weekly circulation. All of the shoppers are hand-delivered, and the Observer, a newspaper, is mailed. Included in the sale is the building housing the business.
